* Shabbat * How Far Have We Strayed? by Elchaiyah
"Moreover, if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the assembly. But if he neglect to hear the assembly, let him be unto thee as an heathen man, and a publican." (Matthew 18:15-17) He that hath an ear (for Yahweh), let him hear (and then obey)! Genesis 2:1-3 ~ "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day Elohim ended His work which He had made, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And Elohim blessed the seventh day, and set it apart, because that in it He had rested from all His work which He had made." These verses describe the Shabbat as * the seventh day * * set-apart * * blessed * * rested upon * Leviticus 23:1-3 ~ "And Yahweh spake unto Moses saying, ‘Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yahweh, which ye shall proclaim to be set-apart convocations, even these are My feasts. Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, a set-apart convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yahweh in all your dwellings." Deuteronomy 5:12-15 ~ "Keep the Sabbath day to set it apart, as Yahweh thy Elohim hath commanded thee. Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahweh thy Elohim; in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thy donkey, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that Yahweh thy Elohim brought thee out hence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore, Yahweh thy Elohim hath commanded thee to keep the Sabbath day." The Sabbath, according to Yahweh’s standard, is on a set day. We shouldn’t just pick any six days we wish to labor on. Yahweh established a certain order. We cannot just start the Sabbath any day we want to, or at any time we want to. Days ordained of Yahweh begin at evening, and the Sabbath begins on the seventh eve, and is kept from eve to eve. People kept Shabbat all the way up through Malachi, as well as through the time period of the "Apocryphal" Scriptures. 1 Esdras 5:51-53 ~ "Also they held the Feast of Tabernacles, as it is commanded in the Law, and offered sacrifices daily as was meet, and after that, the continual oblations, and the sacrifice of the Sabbaths and of the New Moons, and of all set-apart Feasts. And all they that had made any vow to Elohim began to offer sacrifices to Elohim from the first day of the seventh month, although the Temple of Yahweh was not yet built." 2 Maccabees 5:24-27 ~ "Antiochus sent also that detestable ringleader Apollonius.... who coming to Jerusalem, and pretending peace, did forbear till the set-apart day of the Sabbath, when, taking the Jews keeping set-apart day, he commanded his men to arm themselves. And so he slew all them that were gone to the celebrating of the Sabbath, and running through the city with weapons, slew great multitudes. But Judah Maccabee, with nine others, or thereabout, withdrew himself into the wilderness, and lived in the mountains after the manner of beasts, with his company, who fed on herbs continually, lest they should be partakers of the pollution." Apollonius’ "pollution" spoken of above is elaborated on in the next chapter of Second Maccabees: 2 Maccabees 6:5-6 ~ "The altar also was filled with profane things which the Law forbiddeth. Neither was it lawful (according to Apollonius’ law) for a man to keep Sabbath days or ancient Feasts, or to profess himself at all to be a Jew." Speaking of profanation, we could turn to Ezekiel 22:26 ~ "Her priests have violated My law, and have profaned My set-apart things; they have put no difference between the set-apart and the profane, neither have they shewed between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them." This verse, and the one from 2 Maccabees 6, very aptly describe Christian Constantinism, which has existed down through many hundreds of years, and is alive and well even yet today, following after the very same abominations and desolations of Antiochus and his cohorts. However, there will always be a remnant that keeps the true Sabbath and the Torah commands of the Heavenly Father Yah weh and His only begotten son Yah shua. In 2 Maccabees 8, we read of this remnant. Nicanor came against them with his host, intending to sell them as slaves, but Yahweh turned the battle around to be to the enemy’s detriment and to the blessing of His remnant. 2 Maccabees 8:24-29 ~ "And by the help of the Almighty, they (the remnant of faithful Israelites) slew above nine thousand of their enemies, and wounded and maimed the most part of Nicanor’s host, and so put all to flight, and took their money that came to buy them, and pursued them far: but lacking time, they returned, for it was the day before the Sabbath, and therefore they would no longer pursue them. So when they had gathered their armor together, and spoiled their enemies, they occupied themselves about the Sabbath, yielding exceeding praise and thanks to Yahweh, who had preserved them unto that day, which was the beginning of mercy distilling upon them. And after the Sabbath, when they had given part of the spoils to the maimed and the widows and the orphans, the residue they divided among themselves and their servants. When this was done, and they had made a common supplication, they besought the merciful Master to be reconciled with His servants forever." Let us now look at the writings which were written 30+ years after Messiah’s ascension to the Father’s right hand. As we read we will see how they expound on and complement the older writings / instruction of Yahweh. Did the Shabbat change when Yahshua was born? How about at age 12 while speaking with the elders at Passover? How about at age 30 at His baptism? What about when He picked the 12 disciples? Did He tell them to stop keeping Shabbat? Did He tell them, "After I die, Shabbat is going to be changed to another day"? When He resurrected, did He then tell them to keep a "new Sabbath"? After He ascended to Heaven, did Yahweh send someone else to tell us that the Sabbath was nullified? Did He tell Peter, or any of the other apostles, that they were superior, and that they could change the Sabbath? Did any one of the disciples talk about changing the Sabbath? Luke 23:56 ~ "And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments, and rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment." Here are people still keeping Shabbat after Yahshua’s death. These are people who were extremely close to Messiah. If one of His missions had indeed been to change Shabbat to the first of the week, don’t we suppose that He would have told His closest followers about His plans so that they would know to be keeping a new rest day at a very different 24-hour period after His death? Matthew 12:1-13 ~ "At that time Yahshua went on the Sabbath day through the corn, and His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat. But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto Him, ‘Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the Sabbath day.’ But He said unto them, ‘Have ye not read what David did, when he was hungry, and they that were with him, how he entered into the house of Elohim, and did eat the showbread of Yahweh’s table, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? But I say unto you that in this place is One greater than the temple. But if ye had known what this meaneth - I will have mercy, and not sacrifice - ye would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of Man is Master even of the Sabbath day.’ And when He was departed thence, He went into their synagogue: and behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked Him, saying, ‘Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath days?’ that they might accuse Him. And He said unto them, ‘What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the Sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath.’ Then saith He to the man, ‘Stretch forth thine hand.’ And he stretched it forth, and it was restored whole, like as the other." Take note to the fact that Yahweh’s and Yahshua’s Sabbath is very different from the Jewish Pharisees’ Sabbath. Yahweh’s Sabbath is one of peace, rejuvenation, healing, and joy; while the Pharisees’ is one of criticism, discontentment, and unbearable and innumerable rules and regulations. The only thing in common is the time frame. Notice also that Yahshua does not say it is lawful to do work on the Sabbath, but to do well. To help someone in an emergency, for example, is a totally different thing than doing something with the intent of "getting ahead", making money, etc. It could be compared to the speed limit signs. If someone is going 75 mph on a 35 mph road, because they have someone in the car who is bleeding profusely and who needs immediate hospital assistance, the police are not going to fine that person, because obviously the person’s intent is not to break the speed limit laws, but to save a life. In the same way, when Yahshua heals a man on the Sabbath, He is not breaking the Sabbath; He is helping someone in need. Notice, however, that He did not set up a money-making health care facility or a sheep-in-the-ditch rescuing business. Mark 1:21-28 ~ "And they went into Capernaum, and straightway on the Sabbath day He entered into the synagogue and taught. And they were astonished at His doctrine, for He taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out, saying, ‘Let us alone. What have we to do with thee, thou Yahshua of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee, who thou art, the set-apart one of Elohim.’ And Yahshua rebuked him, saying, ‘Hold thy peace, and come out of him.’ And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him." This assembly seems to be led by the Scribes, a different set of the Yahudim (Jews). Yahshua taught on the Sabbath with authority, unlike the Scribes; and removed unclean spirits which spoke against Him even when they knew He was the set-apart One of Elohim. Mark 2:23-28 ~ "And it came to pass that He went through the corn fields on the Sabbath day, and His disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn. And the Pharisees said unto Him, ‘Behold, why do they on the Sabbath day that which is not lawful?’ And He said unto them, ‘Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, he, and they that were with him? How he went into the house of Elohim in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the showbread of the table of Yahweh, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them that were with him?’ And He said unto them, ‘The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore, the Son of man is Master also of the Sabbath.’ " The disciples were hungry, and in need of food. Again, the issue goes back to one’s heart intentions. The disciples were picking enough food for their immediate needs, not harvesting a whole field. It is important that we remember the purpose of the Sabbath. We read in this passage that the Sabbath is made for man. Shabbat is not a burden, but rather a blessing, advantage, rejuvenation for, and gift to us. Notice that the Sabbath (the seventh day weekly Shabbat given at creation) was made for mankind – all of mankind -- to keep at the same time period. It is also interesting to note that Yahshua calls Himself the Master of the Sabbath. One cannot be Master of something that is done away with. The owner or manager of a company that has gone out of business is no longer an owner or manager. By declaring Himself as Master of the Sabbath, Yahshua declared that the Sabbath is still in effect and that He is still Master of it. Mark 3:1-8 ~ "And He entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there which had a withered hand. And they watched Him, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath day; that they might accuse him. And He saith unto the man which had the withered hand, ‘Stand forth.’ And He saith unto them, ‘Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill?’ But they held their peace. And when He had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, He saith unto the man, ‘Stretch forth thine hand.’ And he stretched it out; and his hand was restored whole as the other. And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him. But Yahshua withdrew Himself with His disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea, and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things He did, came unto Him." Yahshua was one doing good, while His accusers were the ones seeking to kill. The crowd followed Yahshua, because He gave hope, miracles, blessings, and all truth. The Pharisees couldn’t compete, and they felt threatened. If coming to Messiah Yahshua takes any of us away from Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. etc., many times those threatened are the leaders who are keeping many from Messiah and His truth. "Woe unto you, Scribes and Pharisees (or any false religious leader), hypocrites, for ye shut up the Kingdom of heaven against men. For ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves." (Matthew 23:13, 15) Mark 6:1-2 ~ "And He went out from thence, and came into His own country, and His disciples followed Him. And when the Sabbath day was come, He began to teach in the synagogue, and many hearing Him were astonished, saying, ‘From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto Him, that even such mighty works are wrought by His hands?’ " Here in Mark 6 we see Yahshua still keeping the Law and keeping the Sabbath. He did not come to do away with the TaNaK (which includes Torah instruction, the psalms, the traditionally recognized prophets, the "Apocryphal" prophecies and poetic writings, the history of our people such as is found in Genesis, Judges, and Maccabees, etc.), or teach such. There were no other Scriptures to live by then. The much later written Apostolic Writings, if read and studied, are nothing new, but rather a continuation of the foundational Torah and Prophetic writings, supporting and complementing these earlier writings. John 5:5-11 ~ "And a certain man was there which had an infirmity of thirty and eight years. When Yahshua saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, He saith unto him, ‘Wilt thou be made whole?’ The impotent man answered Him, ‘Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.’ Yahshua saith unto him, ‘Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.’ And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the Sabbath. The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, ‘It is the Sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.’ He answered them, ‘He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed and walk.’ " Here we go again. This guy had been resting his whole life. Was it really work for him to carry his own cot on the Shabbat? Let’s remember that Yahshua is the Master of the Sabbath, and He did a miraculous healing on Shabbat. Shabbat is a rest day of spiritual rejuvenation and healing. John 7:22-24 ~ "Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers), and ye on the Sabbath day circumcise a man. If a man on the Sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at Me because I have made a man every whit whole on the Sabbath day?" John 9:13-16, 30, 32-39 ~ "They brought to the Pharisees him that was aforetime blind. And it was the Sabbath day when Yahshua made the clay, and opened his eyes. Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, ‘He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.’ Therefore said some of the Pharisees, ‘This man is not of Elohim, because He keepeth not the Sabbath day.’ Others said, ‘How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles?’ And there was a division among them. The man answered and said unto them.... ‘Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man were not of Yahweh, He could do nothing.’ They answered and said unto him, ‘Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us?’ And they cast him out. Yahshua heard that they had cast him out, and when He had found him, He said unto him, ‘Dost thou believe on the Son of Elohim?’ He answered and said, ‘Who is He, Master, that I might believe on Him?’ And Yahshua said unto him, ‘Thou hast both seen Him, and it is He that talketh with thee.’ And he said, ‘Master, I believe.’ And he worshiped Him. And Yahshua said, ‘For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see, and that they which see might be made blind.’ " These Pharisees were anti-Messiah, being blinded, just as many today are blinded, thus creating their own forms of religion but denying the power thereof. "Having a form of righteousness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (2 Timothy 3:5) Many Jews don’t believe Yahshua was Messiah. Many Christians don’t believe in His 7th day Sabbath of rest and assembly (eve to eve, Genesis 1:5, etc.). This is largely because they have been mis-taught and mislead by their leaders who are denying Messiah’s truth. "And He spake a parable unto them: ‘Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they not both fall into the ditch?’ " (Luke 6:39) It is commonly taught by many leaders of today that the Law (Torah, meaning Instruction) was done away with at the stake with Yahshua’s death. Some say also that Yahweh’s weekly Shabbat was changed at Yahshua’s death for our sins. How can that be? Yahshua resurrected and walked the earth again for forty days, and there is no recorded mention of a Sabbath day change or nullification, or abolition of the Law. Praise Yahweh! But oh, so many people of today are misled and deceived. "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of Elohim: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1) Acts 13:14-16 ~ "But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down. And after the reading of the Torah and the prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, ‘Men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.’ Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, ‘Men of Israel, and ye that fear Elohim, give audience.’ " This is after Yahshua’s ascension, and after Pentecost. In Paul’s whole message, he never decries the Sabbath, but rather assembles the whole city the next week to keep the Sabbath, and to hear the wonderful message of Messiah Yahshua and His shed blood. Acts 13:42 ~ "And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought them that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath." A point to ponder -- If Paul was no longer keeping Shabbat, he could have invited them all the very next day on the first day of the week. Interesting to note is that modern day "SUN-day" is not even all on the first day of the week, for Yahweh’s first of the week goes from sundown to sundown (the time of sunset changing with the varying seasons), whereas the Roman "SUN-day" goes from midnight to midnight, splitting up every single night between two different days. How ludicrous. How much would we think it "normal" if every day at 12:00 noon a new day began? We would think it was ludicrous, and rightly so. The same applies to the splitting the night hours between two different days. This only slides by for most easier, because most people are in bed, and don’t notice the ridiculousness of this. Nevertheless.... this change, and other changes to Yahweh’s calendar, are all things that Paul could have expounded on and taught the Gentiles about the very next day, if that had been the case in this time period. In actuality, these anti-Law/instruction types of change came much later on (by ordinance of fallible man), and so there was no reason for Paul to teach anything different from the Torah instruction, the Sabbath, and the Good News of Messiah Yahshua. It was this message, then, that the crowds came to hear on His appointed 7th day Sabbath. Acts 13:43-44 ~ "Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the favor of Elohim. And the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the Word of Elohim." Hebrews 4:3-11 ~ "For we which have believed do enter into rest, as He said, ‘As I have sworn in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest’, although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For He spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, ‘And Elohim did rest the seventh day from all His works.’ And in this place again, ‘If they shall enter into My rest.’ Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: again He limiteth a certain day, saying in David, ‘Today, after so long a time’, as it is said, ‘Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.’ For if Joshua had given them rest, then would He not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a Sabbath keeping to the people of Elohim. For He that is entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as Elohim did from His. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief." Some people twist this to say that it has nothing to do with the weekly Sabbath. But the weekly Sabbath is precisely what is being used as the object lesson in this passage. The Sabbath is so important to Yahweh that He even commanded the stoning of a man who presumptuously broke it. Numbers 15:30-36 ~ " ‘But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth Yahweh; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Because he hath despised the word of Yahweh, and hath broken His commandment, that soul shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.’ And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the Sabbath day. And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. And Yahweh said unto Moses, ‘The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.’ And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died, as Yahweh commanded Moses." Is Yahweh’s Scriptural eve to eve seventh day Sabbath in force today? This is a very visible Scriptural command. We’re either observing it completely, or not observing it at all. We can’t keep Yahweh’s appointed Sabbath a different day.... the world’s way, the government’s way, a false religion’s day.... There’s only one Scriptural Sabbath all through time and eternity. Matthew 5:17-18 ~ "Think not that I am come to destroy the Law or the prophets. I am not come to destroy but to verify and bring to pass. For verily I say unto you, Til heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law till all be brought into being." All is not fulfilled, or brought into being, yet. We are to be living by the Torah that was lived and taught by Yahshua’s example.... not the Pharisees’ example, not the Christians’ example, not the Jews’ example, not Constantine’s regulations, not Apollonius’ or Antiochus’ ideas, or our own ideas, etc. "Now this I say, that every one of you saith, ‘I am of Paul and I of Apollo and I of Peter and I of Messiah.’ Is Messiah divided? Was Paul impaled for you? Or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?" (1 Corinthians 1:12-13) "For while one saith ‘I am of Paul’, and another, ‘I am of Apollo’, are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollo, but servants by whom ye believed, even as Yahweh gave to every man. I have planted, Apollo watered, but Yahweh gave the increase." (1 Corinthians 3:4-6) "For as many of you as have been baptized into Messiah have put on Messiah. There is neither Jew, nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Messiah Yahshua. For if ye be Messiah’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise." (Galatians 3:27-29) "For in Messiah Yahshua, neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a renewed man. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of Elohim." (Galatians 6:15-16) Pure, undefiled, and obedient religion is better than vain "religion". So, what do you say? It is not Moses’ Sabbaths, not the Jews’ Sabbaths.... "it is the Sabbath of Yahweh in all your dwellings" (Leviticus 23:3). Ezekiel 20:12,20 ~ "Moreover, also, I gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am Yahweh that set them apart. I am Yahweh your Elohim; walk in My statutes, and keep My judgments, and do them; and set apart My Sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that ye may know that I am Yahweh your Elohim." "If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on My set-apart day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the set apart of Yahweh, honorable, and shalt honor Him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words, then shalt thou delight thyself in Yahweh, and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father; for the mouth of Yahweh hath spoken it." (Isaiah 58:13-14) Malachi 4:5-6 ~ "Remember ye the law of Moses My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Eliyah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Yahweh: and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." Are fathers in Scriptural family leadership today? This is another issue, and yet, in another way, it relates. For if all fathers were taking on their role of leading their families in the truth, instead of letting it up to the corrupt religious leaders of the day, we all would be a lot less off track. How imperative that we turn our hearts back to our Heavenly Father and His ways, lest He smite the earth with a curse! Let us rather seek His blessings so that our household is spared of any curse which He might smite the earth with. "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live, that thou mayest love Yahweh thy Elohim, that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him, for He is thy life and the length of thy days, that thou mayest dwell in the land which Yahweh sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." (Deuteronomy 30:19-20) "But whoso looketh into the perfect Torah of liberty, and continueth therein, being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this same shall be blessed in his deed." (James 1:25) "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, as it is in Heaven, so on earth." (Matthew 6:10) The Sabbath is a serious landmark of our submission and obedience to Yahweh, the Father, and His anointed Son, Yahshua. There is only one Sabbath rest for all time for all peoples. Let us not stray from His Kingdom truth on earth. Yahweh’s Shalom (Peace) be to you. Elchaiyah |
